In 2001, climber Erik Weihenmayer was the first blind man to summit Mount Everest. In June 2006 he guided a team of blind and visually impaired students across the Andes. The film shows how Erik and three of the blind students make their way across the Andes towards the ruins of the lost Inca city of Machu Picchu.
