Learn about DDS/RSA

DDS/RSA's Mission

Our mission is to provide individualized services to eligible persons with disabilities who are interested in working and achieving independence.

Our transition unit develops and delivers services in schools to students and families to help youth with disabilities achieve independence and long-term employment outcomes.

Whenever possible, we use existing information and assessments to document your disability and determine your eligibility. If an additional assessment is necessary, we will provide it at no cost to you.

Consider applying for services as soon as you begin to explore your options beyond high school. We usually start working with youth in the last two years of high school. This gives us time to work together with you and your school to:
