Writer and disability advocate from Texas, Jeanetta Price, will read a selection from the book, The Write 2 Heal Anthology. Afterward, Price will discuss: 1. How she has been able to persevere through challenges; 2. The meaning of “gaining vision” through sight loss; and 3. What inspired her to write her way to healing.

The event will be held in the New Books Area on the 1st Floor of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library (901 G St, NW).

ASL interpretation will be provided.
