The GULEND program emphasizes:

  • The characteristics, etiology, and life course of children with neurodevelopmental and related disabilities
  • Providing interdisciplinary services within the child’s natural environment, including the family, community, school
  • Cultural competency and family-centered services;
  • Life course and social determinants of health;
  • Team-based systems of care delivery;
  • Leadership and communication skills
