Tuesday, May 11 - Friday, May 14, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Sponsored by: SchoolTalk, Inc. and the D.C. Office of the State Superintendent of Education

SchoolTalk and the D.C. Office of the State Superintendent of Education will host the D.C. Secondary Transition Institute 2021 for local education agencies. Join us for the opportunity to gather resources, connect with each other, and learn together with individuals from across the District working on improving post-school outcomes for students with disabilities.

The Institute's keynote speaker will be Mary E. Morningstar, Professor in Special Education at Portland State University and Co-Director of the Career and Community Studies program. She is Director of the Transition Coalition, a national center offering online, hybrid and in-person professional development and resources for secondary special educators and transition practitioners. She is currently co-director of the OSEP and RSA jointly-funded National Technical Assistance Center on Transition.
