In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Office of Attorney General (OAG) invites you to, Take 30: The Wellbeing of Children in the Era of Covid-19. This program will examine the mental health issues that some children are experiencing during the pandemic as well as guidance on when parents and caretakers should consider seeking help. The program will also shed light on the lack of reporting of child abuse cases during the pandemic and what the community can do to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children during these unprecedented times. Join Chief Deputy Attorney General Jason Downs as he discusses these timely issues with two local physicians: Dr. Asha Patton-Smith (Kaiser Permanente) and Dr. Allison Jackson (Children’s National Hospital).
