Thursday, July 15, 2021

Online via Zoom

Sponsored by: Georgetown University’s Center for Child and Human Development

The Certificate in Early Intervention prepares you to develop a system of services and support for infants, toddlers, and young children with disabilities or delays in development. You’ll benefit from advanced training in comprehensive, evidence-based early intervention practices, including a “system of care” approach to the delivery of services.

In the classroom, you’ll engage with subject matter experts and instructors from Georgetown University’s Center for Child and Human Development, a designated University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). You’ll leave the program with the values, skills, and knowledge needed to intervene effectively and support young children in a culturally competent, family-centric partnership.

Please note: All classes will be taught in a Flex Learning environment for the Fall—using live Zoom video conferencing—to mirror a more traditional classroom with regular interaction, engaging activities, and the dynamic exploration of topics and concepts.
