DC Voter Registration Information

Monday, October 26 - Friday, October 30, 2020

Sponsored by: District of Columbia Public Schools

As the 2020 election approaches, DC Public Schools encourages school leaders to support teachers, staff, students, and families with fulfilling their civic obligation to register and vote. Check out these opportunities below and think about how you can support voter registration and voting participation this year.

DC Voter Registration Information: In this election year, we continue to focus efforts on encouraging students who are approaching eighteen to register to vote. Students over the age of sixteen can pre-register to vote in the District of Columbia, which will allow them to be automatically registered when they turn eighteen. Further, students who will be at least eighteen by the general election in November may request mail-in ballots using the DC Board of Elections website. For more information, click here.

Supported by a grant from The HSC Foundation. Developed and maintained by SchoolTalk, Inc. and Inclusion Research Institute in collaboration with DC Partners in Transition.
