Restorative School Partners:

Thank you for your continued partnership. We hope this email finds you well. Based on your feedback, we have designed and launched our Preparing for SY20-21 Calendar of Professional Development and Technical Assistance in Restorative Justice. We are continuing to center our support for DC schools over the next five weeks on three main elements:

  • Community Building Train-the-Trainer Series helps schools build internal capacity to support the extra community-building activities that will be needed in School Year 2020-21. (We recommend that schools identify 3-6 staff members to participate)
  • Restorative Practices Professional Development Series for skill-building for school staff. (Individual Registration)
  • Targeted Action Planning Sessions to provide schools with structured planning time with access to multiple RJ experts. (School teams can register for one or more sessions.)

Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please circulate this to your school community ASAP. We will continue to develop and adjust our offerings to meet the needs of DC schools and the evolving decisions about when and how the school will open. This flyer provides registration links for our programming through August 20th.

Supported by a grant from The HSC Foundation. Developed and maintained by SchoolTalk, Inc. and Inclusion Research Institute in collaboration with DC Partners in Transition.
