Please come listen to how ILO is building supportive communities in Northern Virginia for adults with developmental disabilities (self-advocates).

Learn how to join ILO and build or join an inclusive community for your family member who needs supports to live independently. We will explain how ILO builds supportive communities, creates community partnerships and how our community builders (staff) build peer relationships between the self-advocates. With ILO's support and guidance, your family member (self-advocate) will be able to move into interdependent living with necessary supports where he or she will not be alone, vulnerable or isolated.

We will also share how ILO has created communities in Germantown, Gaithersburg, Bethesda, DC, and Northern Virginia.

Lastly, you will listen to ILO families talk about the progress their self-advocates have made after moving into their own place.
