Under the leadership of DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, the District of Columbia is taking bold steps to reduce unemployment in communities disproportionately impacted by violence. Through the 1000 Opportunities Initiative, we will connect at least 1000 residents with paid workforce training and subsidized and unsubsidized employment over the next 60 days.
