Goodwill Training Program Now Enrolling: Energy and Construction

As a participant in the 6-week Energy and Construction Program, clients receive:

  • Three Industry recognized credentials: OSHA 10, NCCER Core (National Center for Construction Education and Research) and First Aid/CPR
  • Personalized Resume & Cover Letter
  • Career Coaching & Support
  • Job Interview Preparation
  • 1:1 Job Placement Assistance

To qualify:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid government issued photo identification/Driver’s License
  • US Citizen and/or Legal Permanent Resident (Pursuant to DC and MD Code)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Meet CASAS math and reading score requirements
  • Complete background & drug screening
  • Able to attend classes Monday – Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm

*Goodwill Training Programs are provided at no cost to eligible participants. To determine eligibility, all interested clients must attend an Application/Information session, which is the first step in our enrollment process. Information Sessions are held every Tuesday from 9-11:30am and applicants are encouraged to register online.

*Women, veterans and Prince George's County residents are strongly encouraged to apply.
