DC Public Library, DC Public Library Foundation, and Hirshhorn Museum present: Beyond the Book - A Creative Arts Contest for Teens!

What Are the Rules?

1. This contest is open to participants between the ages of 13 and 19.
2. Only one entry in each category per participant. (Showcase your best work).
3. Writing can be up to 2,500 words long and be in the format of a book review, poem, nonfiction piece or short story.
4. Photography entries must include 5 - 10 photos that make up a photo story.
5. Music should be submitted as an mp3 and be 1 - 3 minutes in length.
6. Entry submissions will be accepted between June 1st – August 31st, 2018.
