Our research team is exploring accessible smartwatch interactions for people with upper body motor impairments. We are recruiting participants 18 years or older who have motor impairments affecting the arms or hands.

In this study, you will be asked to perform four tasks that involve tapping on the touchscreen and bezel of a commercial smartwatch device. We will also collect basic demographic information and feedback on the tasks you perform during the study.

The study will take 90 minutes and will be conducted at our lab at the University of Maryland, College Park. In rare circumstances, we may be able to conduct study sessions at a location that is more convenient to you. You will be compensated $25 in cash and an extra $30 toward transportation costs if the study session is at a location you would not normally visit.

To sign up for the study, or if you have further questions, please email meethu@cs.umd.edu.
