Government Benefits of SSI/Medicaid (a needs-based program) & SSDI/Medicare (an entitlement program) are discussed in a language that can be understood. We go into detail with what the government benefits programs are, who is eligible, their importance, when to apply, how to apply, how much money one could receive, and much much more. We will also discuss when SSA moves an individual from SSI to SSDI and why, and how it is possible to keep Medicaid and/or Medicare without the government benefit of SSI or SSDI. Briefly we will touch on what is benefit counseling and if one goes to work how this affects the benefits and/or insurance. This complicated subject is broken down and discussed slowly so one can at least understand the basics, know where to turn for help in applying and/or there are questions on more complicated issues.

M&L Special Needs Planning, LLC helps families apply for government benefits of SSI and SSDI; in addition we have had success overturning appeals.

*There is a $25.00 registration fee. M&L Special Needs Planning reserves the right to cancel the workshop for insufficient enrollment.
