This workshop designed for arts administrators will explore disability, accessibility, and inclusion; as well as provide strategies and resources that organizations can use as they strive to actively welcome, support, and include persons with disabilities within their artistic programs and communities. Topics will include the philosophy and foundations of inclusion and disability awareness, linking inclusion practice to organizational mission, creating infrastructures and accommodations that welcome persons of all abilities, and securing organizational and community “buy-in.” Participants will gain tangible strategies for their organizations to engage in the journey of inclusion no matter where they are starting from.

Facilitator: Diane Nutting
