Call for Exhibitor, Volunteer and Parent Registrants - 8th Annual Voices of Change Conference: Secondary Transition for DC Youth by DC Youth

Attention Prospective Exhibitors:

You are invited and encouraged to register for our 8th Annual Voices of Change Conference: Secondary Transition for DC Youth by DC Youth! This free, interactive event will enable you to reach out to hundreds of local high school educators and students with IEPs, 504 plans, and disabilities who may benefit from your organization's various, valuable secondary transition services. Hurry, space is limited!

Call for Volunteers:

We are seeking volunteers and adult partners to provide registration support, exhibitor support, student support, entrance support, and general support. Volunteers may register for one or more of the following timeslots: 8:30am-10:30am, 10:30am-12:30pm, 12:30pm-2:30pm, or All Day (8:30am-2:30pm). Volunteers are required to attend an hour-long orientation the day before the conference on March 9th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. (Please see the registration page to submit your time preference for the orientation.) On March 10th, all volunteers are expected to arrive 30 minutes before their assigned timeslot begins.

Attention Parents and Guardians of Youth with Disabilities:

We are inviting all DC parents and guardians of youth with disabilities to register for the Parent Session: How to Prepare for Life After School for Your Child with a Disability to be held in conjunction with our 8th Annual Voices of Change Conference: Secondary Transition for DC Youth by DC Youth. This free, interactive session is just for parents of students with disabilities! Learn how to prepare for life after school and how to support your student's successful transition into employment, education, and independence. There will be an opening session, lunch and six breakout sessions to give parents resources and guidance. Hurry, space is limited!
